Argentina's men's national team have qualified for the Rabobank Hockey World Cup 2014. Argentina qualified by reaching the final of the third round Hockey World League in Malaysia with a 3-1 win over England. The top three teams in the competition automatically go forward to the World Cup.

A further ticket will go to the best number four of both third rounds, in Malaysia and Rotterdam. Korea will face England in the third place play-off, with a win guaranteeing them a place at the Rabobank Hockey World Cup 2014 in The Hague. If England wins this match, the 'lucky loser'-ticket will go to New Zealand, who were fourth in Rotterdam, because their world ranking (6) is higher than that of Korea (8).
