The Japanese women's team beat Korea 2-1 in the final of the Asia Cup on Friday, September 27. As winners, they qualify automatically for the Rabobank Hockey World Cup in in 2014. The two teams may meet again in The Hague because Korea have already qualified for the tournament via the Hockey World League in Rotterdam earlier this year.
