The International Hockey Federation has confirmed the names of the officials who will oversee the women’s competition at the Rabobank Hockey World Cup 2014 in The Hague.
Officials
South Africa’s Sheila Brown has been given the crucial role of tournament director. Brown was also in charge at the 2010 event in Rosario, Argentina. She is supported by three very experienced tournament officials: Laura Pigretti (Argentina), Edna Rutten (the Netherlands) and Rosie Stern (Australia). Stern was recently in charge of the Hockey World League Final in Argentina.
Umpires
These are the 17 umpires. 11 of them also officiated at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
